Students must be enrolled in MLS/MLIS, CAEP, and LTA programs. FLA-ALA joint student membership is limited to five years. FLA-ALA Joint Students must join or renew via the ALA website: https://www.ala.org/aboutala/joint-membership-program only.

Membership Refund Policy

FLA reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership. If FLA refuses a new or renewing membership, registrants will be offered a refund. Membership Cancellation by Participant Membership cancellations received within three (3) business days of registration may be eligible to receive a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will only be accepted via e-mail and must be received by the stated deadline. All refund requests must be made by the FLA member. Refund requests must include the name of the member or membership number. Refunds will be credited back to the credit card used for payment or mailed a check. These above policies apply to all FLA memberships, except for ALA-FLA Joint Student memberships, which are administered via ALA. These policies are in effect when your dues payment are processed.
